The 2027 AI Research Associate Program - Internship places candidates within the AI Research team under the Chief Data & Analytics Office. What we're looking for
Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with relevant AI/ML research experience.
Research publications in top-tier AI/ML venues such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ICAPS, or CRYPTO.
Ability to deliver modular, optimized, high-quality Python code with tests.
Deep understanding of fundamental AI/ML techniques and the current state of the art in specific areas of expertise.
Practical experience with statistical data analysis, experimental design, and creating meaningful benchmarks and metrics.
Effective verbal and written communication skills for both technical and business audiences.
Strong research track record in areas such as synthetic data, hybrid agent architectures, multimodal discovery, foundation models, reinforcement learning, multi-agent systems, or cryptography.
Practical experience with ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow), agent frameworks, or formal verification tools (preferred).
