Wireless SoC RF Integration and Validation Engineer As part of the wireless silicon development team, you will serve as a central hub delivering end-to-end RF integration solutions, including DUT control development, pre-silicon emulation, and integrated RF calibration. You will manage wireless SoC RF functionality bring up, perform performance optimization and characterization for metrics like IP3, NF, and phase noise, and develop calibrations for Wafer and Module ATE mass production. The role requires expertise in RF transceiver architectures, DSP knowledge, and embedded systems. You will utilize tools such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and vector signal generators while utilizing Python and C programming languages to solve complex wireless communication challenges within the silicon development lifecycle.

What you'll do

Develop and integrate end-to-end DUT control sequences and verify them with emulation systems.
Perform wireless SoC RF functionality bring-up and initial silicon validation.
Design and develop RF block and system calibrations, including algorithms and optimizations.
Characterize and optimize RF performance metrics such as Psat, IP3, NF, and phase noise.
Design RF test benches and implement scripts to control the SoC and communicate with test equipment.
Write scripts to parse, plot, and analyze large datasets of characterization results.
Develop RF calibrations and tests for Wafer ATE and Module ATE mass production.
Develop RF firmware based on Python reference scripts.

What we're looking for

Bachelor of Science degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
Experience with RF parametric testing, including IP3, NF, ACPR, phase noise, and load pull (preferred).
Knowledge of RF test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, VSAs, and VSGs (preferred).
Strong wireless RF background and familiarity with transceiver architectures and digital communication (preferred).
Proficiency in understanding RFIC block-level design schematics (preferred).
Experience with RF PCB board design, debug, and development (preferred).
Proficiency in Python programming language (preferred).
Experience with embedded systems, C programming, and automation framework development (preferred).
