Procurement Buyer Co-op

What you'll do

• Execute cost reduction projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for quality and savings.
• Identify best sources for materials and components in coordination with engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure compliance with complex commercial terms and agreements.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
• Support strategic sourcing initiatives and participate in make/buy decision-making processes.
• Place purchase orders and resolve downstream issues with receiving, finance, and accounting departments.
• Own and manage production work orders while maintaining a deep understanding of the product BOM.

What we're looking for

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Must be returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter or semester.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to export-controlled information or facilities.
• Ability to complete an in-person 16 to 24-week internship in winter 2027.
• Experience with Excel and Oracle or a similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (preferred).
• Excellent documentation, communication, relationship management, problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills (preferred).
• Expertise of commercial and FAR/DFAR procurement rules, regulations, and laws (preferred).
• Knowledge of supply chain planning best practices, data processes, and ability to read technical drawings or blueprints (preferred).
