WiFi Connectivity Validation Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and execute comprehensive test methodologies to validate connectivity performance of state-of-the-art WiFi systems.
• Define requirements and troubleshoot complex technical issues in collaboration with design and integration engineers.
• Drive system optimization for critical functionalities including Throughput, RvR, MIMO, OFDMA, Beamforming, and Coexistence.
• Develop automation frameworks to support robust test infrastructure for regression and continuous integration.
• Perform hands-on lab testing to validate PHY/MAC functionality.
• Utilize RF test equipment such as signal analyzers, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers for validation.
• Analyze network data using protocol analyzers, Wireshark, and iperf to debug connectivity issues.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science degree and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of wireless communication systems and IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be).
• Strong programming skills in Python, Shell scripting, Perl, JavaScript, and/or C# for test automation and data analysis.
• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (preferred).
• Hands-on experience testing and validating WiFi systems in laboratory environments (preferred).
• Proven experience developing and automating tests for wireless systems with a focus on scalable frameworks (preferred).
• Proficiency with RF test equipment, including signal analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and WiFi signaling testers (preferred).
• Familiarity with network analysis tools like Wireshark and iperf, and experience configuring access points (preferred).
