What you'll do

  • Lead the deployment, integration, and lifecycle management of enterprise security tools like SIEM, XDR, EDR, and email gateways.
  • Develop and execute a cybersecurity tooling strategy aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk priorities.
  • Automate threat detection, compliance reporting, and operational workflows using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Report endpoint security metrics, tool effectiveness, and overall security posture to executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all security tools and processes align with frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS.
  • Partner with IT infrastructure and DevOps teams to embed security requirements into project delivery and system architecture.
  • Manage budget planning, forecasting, and reporting for security tooling investments and operational priorities.
  • Mentor and develop a team of security engineers while fostering a culture of engineering excellence.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in cybersecurity operations, security engineering, or cybersecurity tools management.
  • Leadership experience overseeing security engineering, security operations, or cybersecurity tooling teams.
  • Engineering experience with email gateways, SIEM, EDR, XDR, vulnerability management, or related platforms.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives involving planning, budgeting, forecasting, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience automating security, compliance, or operational workflows using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar languages.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.
  • Professional security management certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Experience presenting technical security concepts, risk metrics, and investment priorities to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
