JOB TITLE: VPII, InfoSec Engineering Manager The VPII, InfoSec Engineering Manager leads a team of security engineers within the Cybersecurity Engineering and Architecture organization to oversee enterprise security tools platforms. This leader manages the design, implementation, integration, and optimization of cybersecurity tooling across on-premises and cloud-based environments. Key responsibilities include deploying and managing SIEM platforms like Splunk and Elasticsearch, XDR, EDR, email gateways, and vulnerability management systems. The role requires automating threat detection and compliance reporting using Python, PowerShell, and Bash. The manager ensures alignment with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS frameworks. This position solves the business problem of translating security risk into actionable measures while modernizing infrastructure protection, managing budgets, and mentoring engineering talent to maintain a robust security posture against emerging threats.

What you'll do

  • Lead the deployment, integration, and lifecycle management of enterprise security tools like SIEM, XDR, and EDR.
  • Develop and execute a cybersecurity tooling strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Automate threat detection, compliance reporting, and operational workflows using Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
  • Report endpoint security compliance metrics and tooling effectiveness to executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all security tools and processes align with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS standards.
  • Partner with IT Governance, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to embed security requirements into system architecture.
  • Manage budget planning, forecasting, and reporting for security tooling investments and operational priorities.
  • Mentor and develop security engineering talent while fostering a culture of engineering excellence.

What we're looking for

  • 10 or more years of experience in cybersecurity operations, security engineering, or cybersecurity tools management.
  • 5 or more years of leadership experience overseeing security engineering, security operations, or cybersecurity tooling teams.
  • 5 or more years of engineering experience with email gateways, SIEM, EDR, XDR, vulnerability management, or related enterprise security platforms.
  • 5 or more years of experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with planning, budgeting, forecasting, execution, and stakeholder management accountability.
  • 5 or more years of experience automating security, compliance, or operational workflows using PowerShell, Python, Bash, shell scripting, or similar languages.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field (preferred).
  • Professional security management certification such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent (preferred).
  • Experience presenting technical security concepts, risk, metrics, and investment priorities to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders (preferred).
