VP Production, Mission Systems

What you'll do

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple production facilities to ensure consistent quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Manage the division's production P&L by making resource allocation tradeoffs and setting multi-year manufacturing strategies.
• Lead new product introduction efforts in partnership with R&D and engineering teams to build production lines from scratch.
• Drive operational excellence through lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve yields and reduce costs.
• Monitor key performance indicators across safety, quality, delivery, schedule, and cost for all production sites.
• Manage capital planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for production functions across the entire division.
• Oversee workforce and location strategies, including labor market analysis and site selection for geographic expansion.
• Represent the production organization in executive, customer, and investor contexts to shape corporate strategy.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• At least 7-10 years of experience in a senior or executive role overseeing organizations of 500+ employees.
• Proven track record leading large, complex manufacturing operations across multiple sites and scaling international manufacturing operations.
• Experience managing simultaneous product ramps across multiple facilities.
• Expertise across production planning, supply chain, manufacturing engineering, operations, and quality.
• Demonstrated ability to scale an operational excellence framework using lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Direct P&L ownership in a production environment with experience managing budgets in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
