What you'll do

Design and develop distributed storage systems for high-performance, massively scalable cloud workloads.
Develop and optimize new features for the OCI high-performance distributed file storage platform.
Operate and maintain a mission-critical Tier 1 cloud service to meet strict availability and performance SLAs.
Partner with Product Management to define and deliver capabilities that address evolving customer needs.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to improve scalability, performance, and efficiency across the OCI platform.
Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance, design reviews, and knowledge sharing.
Drive engineering excellence by contributing to architecture discussions, code reviews, and testing strategies.

What we're looking for

Must have 6 to 10+ years of experience.
Proficiency in C programming language is required.
Experience with Python is required.
Expertise in distributed systems and cloud architecture is required.
Knowledge of kernel programming and network programming is required.
Experience with Unix/Linux systems is required.
Familiarity with elastic file systems is required.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
