As the VP, Global Head of Product Security and Risk, you will join the team responsible for building the next generation of global financial infrastructure through programmable money, blockchain-based payments, and cloud-native APIs. You will define and lead the enterprise framework to ensure products scale securely and compliantly across jurisdictions. Your daily responsibilities include embedding security and risk requirements into product roadmaps, overseeing risk assessments, and leading high-performing teams across product security and compliance operations. You will utilize deep knowledge of blockchain, distributed ledger technologies, and decentralized finance to manage emerging Web3 ecosystems. Key technical competencies include securing cloud-native applications on AWS or GCP and applying frameworks like ISO 27001 and NIST. You will also serve as an executive interface with regulators and auditors.

Monitor and interpret evolving AML, payments, cybersecurity, and digital asset regulations to drive organizational responses.
Oversee product risk assessments, control design, monitoring, testing, reporting, and remediation efforts.
Evaluate emerging blockchain technologies and decentralized architectures to define risk-based approaches aligned with global regulations.
What we're looking for
12–15+ years of experience in crypto, fintech, financial services, or financial infrastructure.
10+ years of experience leading high-performing global teams.
Deep technical and strategic knowledge of blockchain, distributed ledger technologies, decentralized finance, digital identity, and Web3 ecosystems.
Proven experience designing and scaling product risk, compliance, and security programs in highly regulated environments.
Experience securing and operating cloud-native applications and services across AWS, GCP, or similar platforms.
Demonstrated success partnering with Product and Engineering leaders to deliver secure, compliant, customer-centric products.
Executive presence and experience interfacing with regulators, auditors, and senior external stakeholders.
Advanced degree in computer science, cybersecurity, engineering, or related field (preferred); industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CEH, or CCSK (preferred).
