What you'll do

  • Define the strategy and roadmap for a risk and fraud platform supporting both crypto and traditional financial rails.
  • Build fraud prediction and detection systems by defining risk vectors and integrating third-party vendor models.
  • Develop a user-friendly rules engine and intuitive tooling to support risk operations across the customer lifecycle.
  • Implement observability strategies to monitor performance, validate flows, and surface key risk indicators for executive decision-making.
  • Leverage AI/ML to automate risk decisioning, including leading feature engineering and model development.
  • Translate complex regulatory requirements and business needs into clear product requirements and user stories for engineering teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of platform design and functionality to ensure audit readiness and internal transparency.
  • Represent the risk platform in senior leadership and regulatory forums to demonstrate compliance with evolving obligations.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of product management experience in risk, compliance, or trust & safety platforms within fintech, crypto, or financial services.
  • Deep expertise in fraud typologies for consumer/SMB segments and hands-on experience crafting risk rules.
  • Deep expertise in AML, sanctions screening, and onboarding compliance such as KYC/KYB.
  • Proven track record of translating regulatory requirements into scalable platform capabilities for both crypto and fiat rails.
  • Experience leading modular platform design and refactoring monolithic services into service-oriented architectures.
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering, data science, and operations teams while influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills to apply ML, risk signals, and scoring models to improve detection and operational efficiency.
  • Technical fluency in APIs, SDKs, event-driven architectures (SNS/SQS), SQL, and GitHub.
