VP, AI Marketing Strategy

What you'll do

• Develop and own the strategic narrative positioning MongoDB as the default data platform for agentic applications.
• Manage how MongoDB is represented in AI-generated responses, developer tools, and training data sets.
• Ensure technical accuracy of documentation and code examples to optimize how AI systems interpret product content.
• Drive co-marketing initiatives with key partners across agent frameworks, deployment platforms, and frontier model providers.
• Establish MongoDB's presence within the specific tools and environments where developers build applications.
• Define acquisition strategies and marketing briefs for reaching and converting agentic builders.
• Influence the product roadmap to ensure it aligns with the requirements of AI-driven developer segments.

What we're looking for

• Experience operating at the intersection of AI and marketing as a marketing leader or executive.
• Fluency in agentic workflows and tools like Claude Code or Cursor to produce content and run programs.
• Ability to treat content as infrastructure by managing how data is indexed, surfaced, and used in training sets.
• Technical proficiency to engage with engineers on LLM construction, retrieval systems, and agent tool selection.
• Proven track record of influencing product roadmaps from a marketing seat to achieve specific acquisition outcomes.
• Experience establishing presence within developer ecosystems through documentation strategy and integration design.
• Demonstrated ability to hold cross-functional partners accountable to quality standards without direct reporting authority.
• Ability to execute as both a builder and an operator in a high-visibility, hands-on role.
