JOB TITLE: Virtualization Systems Administrator - TS/SCI w/Poly The Virtualization Systems Administrator - TS/SCI w/Poly joins the CIO Infrastructure Services team to manage the operation, sustainment, and security of enterprise virtual server environments across multiple networks and enclaves. This role involves maintaining hypervisors, virtual machines, and compute clusters to ensure stability, compliance, and performance. Key responsibilities include administering VMware and Hyper-V technologies, operating vCenter systems, and troubleshooting Windows and Linux virtual machines. The successful candidate will implement configuration baselines, apply security controls, perform timely patching, and maintain ATO compliance. Required technical skills include experience with patch management, vulnerability remediation, STIG compliance, and hypervisor lifecycle management. The position addresses the technical challenge of securing and optimizing large-scale virtualized infrastructure to support critical mission applications and infrastructure services within a defense context.

What you'll do

Administer, maintain, and optimize virtualized server environments using VMware and Hyper-V technologies.
Operate and maintain vCenter systems, including certificate lifecycle management and baseline updates.
Build, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux virtual machines to support mission applications.
Monitor compute resource health and utilization to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Maintain configuration baselines for virtual hosts, hypervisors, VM templates, and golden images.
Support ATO compliance by implementing security controls and updating system security baselines.
Perform timely patching of hypervisors, virtual appliances, and guest operating systems.
Create and manage virtual machine templates and provisioning workflows for consistent deployments.

What we're looking for

Must possess an active Top Secret SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph.
Must be a US citizen.
Must meet DoD 8140 Information Assurance Workforce certification requirements, such as Security+ CE.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or 8+ years of relevant IT experience for the Senior level.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or 10+ years of relevant IT experience for the Principal level.
Must have hands-on experience administering enterprise-scale virtualization platforms including VMware and Hyper-V.
Must have experience with Windows and Linux server administration in virtualized environments.
Active TS/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph.
