What you'll do

  • Develop performant Java services that function as both consumers and producers of data via gRPC and REST.
  • Apply AI-native skillsets and agentic tooling to accelerate the product development life cycle.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the Analytics & Compliance Engineering team.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Manage the full software development lifecycle including test-driven development, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

What we're looking for

  • BA/BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in software development using Java.
  • Strong project management skills to lead a team of engineers in rearchitecting and modernizing core services.
  • Robust knowledge of object-oriented design patterns and implementation.
  • Experience with inter-process communication frameworks like gRPC and REST.
  • Advanced knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including data modeling.
  • Experience with multi-tier architecture, high performance distributed systems, and in-memory caching solutions.
  • Experience adhering to SDLC standards, including TDD, unit testing, Agile, and CI/CD.
