What you'll do

  • Design and implement scalable backend systems using Java for high-volume data processing.
  • Solve complex problems in large-scale data systems by applying advanced data modeling and database technologies.
  • Develop performant APIs in partnership with clients to ensure efficient data delivery.
  • Integrate AI-native skillsets and agentic tooling to accelerate the product development lifecycle.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the analytics and compliance team.
  • Manage the full software development lifecycle, including TDD, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

What we're looking for

  • A BA/BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in software development using Java (preferred).
  • Strong experience with client-server models and inter-process communication technologies like gRPC and REST.
  • Advanced knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including data modeling for large scale systems.
  • Experience with multi-tier architecture and high performance distributed or in-memory caching solutions.
  • Proficiency in SDLC standards including TDD, unit testing, Agile, and CI/CD strategies.
  • Ability to lead, mentor junior engineers, and manage projects across multi-functional teams.
  • Skills in AI-native development, agentic tooling, and experience with cloud technologies like Kubernetes or Docker (preferred).
