The Vice President, Head of OMS joins the Technology Global Engineering team supporting Trading Trading Solutions in this global executive leadership role. This position is responsible for the strategy, financial performance, and operational success of the global Trading OMS organization. The successful candidate will lead the modernization, delivery, and evolution of business-critical applications, platforms, infrastructure, and software solutions while driving Agile engineering practices, software quality, testing, and production support. Key responsibilities include managing budgets, resource allocation, vendor management, and establishing governance for service quality and resilience. The role requires expertise in application architecture, infrastructure, and AI-enabled engineering practices within the context of sell-side trading, electronic markets, or regulated financial services. This leader will oversee the development of scalable, secure systems to solve complex problems within the trading order management domain while managing a high-performing team of senior leaders.

What you'll do

  • Define and execute the multi-year technology strategy and roadmap for the global Trading OMS organization.
  • Lead the modernization and delivery of scalable, secure, and reliable trading applications and infrastructure.
  • Drive Agile engineering practices, software quality, testing, and continuous improvement across all development teams.
  • Manage financial performance including budgets, resource allocation, vendor management, and operational risk.
  • Establish governance, performance metrics, and accountability for service quality and modernization initiatives.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing team of senior engineering and functional leaders.
  • Communicate strategy, investment priorities, and delivery progress to executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry, regulatory, and market developments to inform trading technology strategy.

What we're looking for

  • 15+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience in fintech, sell-side trading, electronic markets, or regulated financial services (preferred).
  • 10+ years leading engineering teams and senior leaders.
  • Proven success leading large-scale, business-critical platforms and technology modernization programs.
  • Deep knowledge of software development, application architecture, infrastructure, operational delivery, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience managing budgets, resource allocation, vendor management, and enterprise delivery commitments.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional partners.
  • Proven success with AI-enabled engineering practices.
