What you'll do

Design and maintain advanced frameworks to enhance Walmart’s Marketplace capabilities for sellers and partners.
Manage the Marketplace Platform API to enable third-party sellers to utilize services from Solution Partners.
Execute the full software development lifecycle including coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and system monitoring.
Build AI-driven applications and integrate ML components using languages like Java, Python, and TypeScript.
Lead infrastructure and tooling development to improve engineering productivity and developer experience.
Conduct system design reviews to ensure architectural alignment, scalability, and high code quality.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to foster team growth and professional development.
Translate complex business requirements from stakeholders into actionable technical specifications for the engineering team.

What we're looking for

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and 4 years of software engineering experience.
Alternatively, candidates may qualify with 6 years of experience in software engineering or a related area.
Experience is preferred for those with a Master's degree and at least 2 years of software engineering experience.
Proficiency in backend technologies like Java and frontend frameworks such as ReactJS is required.
Ability to develop applications using languages including JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Rust, Dart, or C++.
Experience applying cloud-native architecture principles such as microservices, containers, and automation for scalable systems.
Knowledge of implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies is preferred.
Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead technical decisions regarding system design and architectural best practices.
