What you'll do

Design and maintain advanced frameworks to enhance Walmart's Marketplace capabilities for sellers and channel partners.
Code, debug, optimize, and monitor application health to ensure robust performance of platform services.
Manage the Walmart Marketplace Platform API to empower third-party sellers to utilize solution partner services.
Drive the full software development lifecycle including testing, CI/CD deployment, observability, and maintenance.
Build AI-driven applications and integrate ML components using languages like Java, Python, and TypeScript.
Apply cloud-native architecture principles such as microservices and containers to achieve system scalability and resilience.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on architectural decisions, standardization, and reusability.
Convert complex user problems from stakeholders into actionable technical requirements and well-scoped engineering units.

What we're looking for

Must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area and 4 years of experience in software engineering.
Must have 6 years of experience in software engineering or a related area.
Must be proficient in coding, debugging, and optimizing applications using Java for backend services and ReactJS for frontend development.
Must be able to build AI-driven applications using languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Rust, Dart, and C++.
Must be able to apply cloud-native architecture principles including microservices, containers, and automation.
Must be able to lead the full software development lifecycle including CI/CD deployment, observability, and monitoring.
Must be able to mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on architectural decisions.
Master’s degree in a related field and 2 years of experience in software engineering (preferred).
Knowledge of implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies (preferred).
