What you'll do

Design and maintain advanced frameworks to enhance Walmart’s Marketplace capabilities for sellers and partners.
Develop and manage high-availability, scalable distributed systems using cloud-native architecture principles.
Execute the full software development lifecycle including coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and incident response.
Architect and build intelligent software systems that integrate AI agents and advanced machine learning models.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers to foster professional growth and engineering excellence.
Translate complex business requirements into actionable technical specifications and measurable performance metrics.
Maintain architectural decision records to ensure transparency and alignment in technical planning.
Drive the development of shared infrastructure, reusable tools, and scalable internal platforms.

What we're looking for

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and 5 years of software engineering experience.
Alternatively, candidates may qualify with 7 years of experience in software engineering or a related area.
Experience is preferred for those with a Master's degree and at least 3 years of software engineering experience.
Proficiency in Java for backend services and ReactJS for frontend development is required.
Candidates should have experience with Python, JavaScript, Dart, Rust, or C++ to build intelligent systems.
Expertise in cloud-native architecture, distributed system design, and CI/CD pipelines is required.
Experience in AI/ML integration, including building agents with multi-step reasoning and tool-augmented tasks, is required.
Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies is preferred.
