What you'll do

  • Lead root cause analysis for accidents and identify systemic problems to improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage transportation documentation and ensure compliance with DOT and hazardous materials regulations.

What we're looking for

  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety Management, Criminal Justice, Security, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Alternatively, candidates must have 2 years of experience in Environmental, Health and Safety, or Asset Protection/Security within Supply Chain or Retail.
  • Proficiency in data collection techniques, tools, and analytics to ensure data quality and organize information for analysis is required.
  • Knowledge of environmental policies, federal/state/local regulations, and the operation of equipment for evaluating air, water, and waste pollution is required.
  • Experience with OSHA guidelines, safety auditing processes, and emergency evacuation plans is required.
  • Knowledge of asset protection practices, theft prevention tools, and access control procedures is required.
  • Proficiency in risk management processes, including identifying technology/financial risks and conducting risk assessments, is required.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations (DOT, FMCSA, PHMSA) and hazardous materials handling is required.
