What we're looking for
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety Management, Criminal Justice, Security, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Alternatively, candidates must have 2 years of experience in Environmental, Health and Safety, or Asset Protection/Security within Supply Chain or Retail.
Proficiency in data collection techniques, tools, and analytics to ensure data quality and organize information for analysis is required.
Knowledge of environmental policies, federal/state/local regulations, and the operation of equipment for evaluating air, water, and waste pollution is required.
Experience with OSHA guidelines, safety auditing processes, and emergency evacuation plans is required.
Knowledge of asset protection practices, theft prevention tools, and access control procedures is required.
Proficiency in risk management processes, including identifying technology/financial risks and conducting risk assessments, is required.
Knowledge of transportation regulations (DOT, FMCSA, PHMSA) and hazardous materials handling is required.
