TS&D Engineering Scientist

What you'll do

• Design and develop novel surfactant formulations for complex reservoirs and EOR applications.
• Execute experimental methods to expand product offerings and improve competitive positioning.
• Build surfactant structure-property relationships for gas and water injection systems.
• Lead cross-functional TS&D projects involving R&D, sales, and marketing teams.
• Generate intellectual property and contribute to the global R&D project pipeline.
• Resolve complex technical issues by leveraging market knowledge and competitive analysis.
• Author technical papers and present findings at industry conferences and trade journals.
• Manage the technical project pipeline and identify new high-value opportunity spaces.

What we're looking for

• A PhD in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related applied science field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in reservoir engineering, subsurface oil field operations, or EOR product development.
• Expertise in chemical EOR, including surfactant phase behavior for complex reservoirs and surfactant characterization analytical techniques.
• Proficiency in reservoir modeling, oil field data modeling, and machine learning is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage technical project pipelines.
• Strong communication skills to convey findings to internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Demonstrated track record of innovation documentation in journals and patents.
• Ability to travel up to 10% for work purposes.
