JOB TITLE: Tier 2 Linux Administrator - TS/SCI with polygraph The Tier 2 Linux Administrator - TS/SCI with polygraph joins a high-performing team providing mission-critical infrastructure support for a large Federal Intelligence Agency. This role focuses on supporting secure Linux operations across multiple security enclaves and hybrid environments. You will perform advanced troubleshooting, system optimization, and user support for Linux platforms while maintaining Windows systems. Key responsibilities include Linux system administration for RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu, as well as managing Windows 10 and Server 2012/2016 environments using Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and DFS. What you'll do

Provide Tier 2 support for incident resolution and user issues in a mixed Windows and Linux environment.
Perform Linux system administration for RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu including user management and permissions.
Support Windows workstations and servers including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and DFS.
Troubleshoot application crashes, system performance issues, and network connectivity problems.
Deliver remote and on-site end-user desktop support to resolve escalated technical issues.
Respond to service desk escalations using ServiceNow or NETS while providing incident reporting.
Participate in incident triage and real-time response efforts for mission-critical infrastructure.
Maintain compliance with DoD security standards and 8570 IA certification requirements.

What we're looking for

Must be a US Citizen.
Must currently possess an active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work/military experience).
Must have at least 5 years of experience in systems administration with Tier 2 support capabilities.
Must hold a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification, such as CompTIA Security+ CE (preferred).
Must possess skills in Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Microsoft Enterprise Technologies.
Must have experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and LDAP.
Must have experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow and understand ITIL v3 or higher.
