Test Platforms, Applications, and Systems Engineering Program Manager

What you'll do

• Manage the roadmap for test platforms and systems across UE, network interfaces, and end-to-end Apple services.
• Coordinate cross-functional dependencies between baseband firmware, protocol stack software, RF hardware, and backend service teams.
• Develop and maintain network simulation environments for protocol conformance, regression testing, and stress testing.
• Build tooling to validate device behavior across core services like iMessage, Find My, and location services.
• Create infrastructure to generate automated evidence packages for carrier acceptance and regulatory compliance.
• Establish processes to characterize the network impact of software changes and trigger appropriate regression suites.
• Define internal software maturity models including requirements traceability, test coverage sign-off, and controlled delivery.
• Lead trade-off discussions regarding feature scope, schedule risks, and equipment availability with internal and external partners.

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering and technical program management.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of the cellular protocol stack (L1–L3) and UE–network signaling flows.
• Hands-on experience with network simulation or callbox environments for protocol and RF testing.
• Familiarity with mobile services architecture and how applications interact with network and cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Apple Push Notification service, iMessage delivery, Find My protocols, or similar services-layer technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to drive alignment across engineering, program, and vendor stakeholder groups.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt styles for different audiences.
