Senior Test & Evaluation Engineer

What you'll do

• Own, plan, and execute full system level T&E of hardware and software to drive design maturation.
• Conduct shore and sea-based testing, including initial issue investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Assist in the integration of sensors, communication systems, and autonomy software into underwater sensor products.
• Provide technical guidance, task assignments, and event scheduling to the Field Operations team.
• Implement and maintain processes for test documentation throughout the entire development and test cycle.
• Establish requirements, test campaign schedules, milestones, and gates in coordination with program management.
• Lead a team to conduct testing at private and government-owned test ranges.
• Oversee test data collection efforts and perform initial data analysis for the system under test.

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent engineering experience.
• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering, integration, and testing.
• 4+ years of experience as a lead test conductor or director for developmental systems on manned and/or unmanned sea-craft.
• Working knowledge of maritime operating rules and regulations.
• Proficiency with Linux, command line interfaces, and software debugging.
• Ability to immediately obtain a U.S. Top Secret-Level security clearance.
• Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline (preferred).
• Experience with programming languages such as Go, Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript (preferred).
