Test Engineer, Camera and Sensing

What you'll do

• Define test and calibration methods for cameras and optical sensors including algorithm development.
• Design hardware specifications for camera test stations.
• Manage the production of test stations with third-party manufacturing vendors.
• Support tester bring-up and maintain technical documentation for manufacturing partners.
• Troubleshoot and debug test station hardware, software, and firmware releases.
• Perform failure analysis by reviewing test data in collaboration with design engineers.
• Analyze and visualize complex data sets using Python, MATLAB, or JMP.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in optics, physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience testing cameras or optical sensors for consumer electronics.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, and/or C/C++.
• Strong data analysis and visualization skills using tools like JMP, Python, or MATLAB.
• Understanding of testing methodologies for cameras and fundamental knowledge of optical sensing technologies.
• Knowledge of quality methodologies including GR&R and SPC.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 15% of the time.
• Experience with robotics, instrument control automation, or high-volume manufacturing test stations is preferred.
