Software Test Engineer, Sensing & Connectivity

What you'll do

• Define the quality assurance strategy and validate training data, features, and labels for ML models.
• Challenge the design and implementation of algorithms using sound analytical reasoning.
• Develop automated tests to measure feature performance, system memory usage, and quality metrics.
• Identify project KPIs and build dashboards to track progress across multiple releases.
• Generate large-scale synthetic data to validate on-device models across diverse environments.
• Build scalable data-collection and replay infrastructure that adheres to privacy standards.
• Profile, process, and evaluate large structured and unstructured datasets.
• Communicate with hardware and software stakeholders to drive the end-to-end user experience.

What we're looking for

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience validating AI models, crafting benchmarks and evaluation protocols, and performing statistical analysis.
• Proficiency in designing AI-assisted workflows using GenAI to automate testing, debugging, and metrics analysis.
• Proficiency in coding with Python and/or MATLAB.
• Proficiency in data analysis, data visualization, and reporting.
• Familiarity with building data-collection and replay tooling and evaluation pipelines for large-scale data processing (preferred).
• Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases, including query languages and designing tables, views, and indices (preferred).
• Familiarity testing hardware or software, including designing and executing test plans (preferred).
