Test Development Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and validate test systems for component and LRU-level hardware manufacturing.
• Lead software and hardware integration testing across multiple disciplines.
• Analyze test data using tools such as MATLAB or Python.
• Investigate and troubleshoot yield issues during prototype and production builds.
• Develop procedures and troubleshooting guides to support production lines.
• Provide design for testability (DFT) feedback to the hardware development team.
• Manage cross-functional schedules, requirements, and specifications for system test campaigns.
• Organize and manage the release of software and hardware documentation through gate reviews.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems.
• 2+ years of experience developing hardware test systems, including test software and supporting hardware.
• Experience with hardware/software integration testing and debugging.
• Experience working with hardware and software teams for prototype device setup, testing, and troubleshooting (preferred).
• Experience with programmatically testing products, measuring coverage, automation, and CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
