Technology & Innovation Organization Electrical Engineering Intern

What you'll do

• Develop UEFI and BIOS code for HP Workstations.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware and system problems.
• Gather training data to improve AI models.
• Perform circuit analysis and design for electronic systems.
• Design PCBs and capture schematics for hardware components.
• Utilize oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers for testing.
• Execute soldering and physical hardware assembly tasks.
• Develop firmware for embedded systems and microcontrollers.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must have completed at least three years of a university degree or one year of a master's degree in a technical field.
• Applicants must have no more than 24 months of professional work experience related to the role.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and not require future sponsorship.
• Preferred majors include Electrical, Computer, Electronics, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science.
• Required skills include circuit analysis/design, analog and digital electronics, and PCB design with schematic capture.
• Proficiency is required in using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and power supplies.
• Experience in soldering, hardware assembly, embedded systems, microcontrollers, and FPGA basics is desired.
• Knowledge of power electronics, control systems, signal processing, and basic RF/wireless concepts is preferred.
