What you'll do

Develop, review, and edit S1000D data modules using Siemens Rapid Author.
Create user-focused technical manuals, operational procedures, maintenance guides, and release notes.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to translate complex technical workflows into clear documentation.
Lead stakeholders through a defined documentation roadmap to meet contract milestones and targets.
Manage project risks by identifying potential delays and communicating them clearly to leadership.
Ensure all contract deliverables are accurate, defect-free, and submitted in the required formats.
Prioritize tasks and use data-driven approaches to keep documentation projects on schedule.

What we're looking for

4+ years of demonstrated excellence generating technical documentation.
Experience reading and interpreting engineering documentation.
Experience building DOD-focused content in XML.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance.
Ability to relocate to or work onsite in Costa Mesa, CA.
Experience creating S1000D data modules, ideally with MIL-STD-3048 experience (preferred).
Previous experience creating technical documentation in Aerospace and Defense for the DoD (preferred).
Military exposure, military aviation service, or experience with military formatting standards (preferred).
