What you'll do

Create and maintain accurate user manuals, technical guides, and release notes for diverse product lines.
Partner with engineers and subject matter experts to translate complex technical information into clear user documentation.
Identify user workflows and develop content that simplifies the learning process for front-line operators.
Lead stakeholders through a defined documentation roadmap to meet specific project milestones and targets.
Ensure all contract deliverables are accurate, on-time, and formatted correctly for account teams.
Produce technical documentation that complies with military standards such as MIL-STD-40051D and S1000D.
Manage expectations and communicate risks to leadership regarding project timelines and documentation progress.
Establish and maintain high standards for tone, voice, and quality across all written artifacts.

What we're looking for

4+ years of demonstrated excellence generating technical documentation.
Experience writing technical user-facing documentation.
Experience reading and interpreting engineering documentation.
Experience building content in a variety of formats such as Word and XML.
Eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to relocate to or work on-site in Ashville, OH.
Military exposure and experience with military technical documentation standards like MIL-STD-40051D and S1000D (preferred).
Experience creating technical documentation in Aerospace and Defense for the DoD (preferred).
