What you'll do

  • Lead Quality Excellence Initiative programs to improve customer health, service resiliency, and outage prevention across Microsoft Cloud.
  • Translate customer signals, outages, and risks into clear engineering requirements and investment priorities.
  • Define and operationalize scalable frameworks and governance models for consistent adoption of quality capabilities.
  • Manage end-to-end program execution for complex, multi-service initiatives including planning, dependency management, and milestone tracking.
  • Establish data-driven metrics to measure reductions in customer pain, repeat incidents, and operational risks.
  • Partner with engineering and service teams to execute risk mitigation plans and improve change management controls.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and business impact of quality programs to senior leadership.
  • Transform lessons learned from outages and customer feedback into systemic engineering improvements.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
  • Preferred: 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • Preferred: At least 1 year of experience reading and/or writing code for documentation or product demos.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications and actionable delivery plans.
  • Experience using data to drive decisions, measure outcomes, and influence both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences including engineers, architects, and business leaders.
