Technical Marketing Engineering Technical Leader

What you'll do

• Craft and implement validation test plans for optics based on AI customer requirements.
• Prepare technical content for Product Requirement Documents and specifications for new AI applications.
• Perform interoperability testing and system functional validation with technology and Go-To-Market partners.
• Respond to field inquiries regarding optical transceivers and technical issues.
• Contribute to forward-looking programs, product roadmaps, and internal Concept and Execution Commits.
• Conduct hands-on lab testing using high-speed scopes and optical spectrum analyzers.
• Solve pluggable optics issues in switches and routers during customer-facing interactions.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, Master's with 8+ years, or PhD with 3+ years.
• Degree preferably in Electrical Engineering, a physical science, or a related field.
• Experience in Technical Marketing, Field Application Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on skills for interoperability testing and validation activities in a lab environment.
• Client-facing experience with exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of customer optical infrastructure requirements in AI datacenter networks (preferred).
• Knowledge of networking technologies and Cisco’s switching and routing portfolio (preferred).
• Knowledge of standards for pluggable optical transceivers, including IEEE 802.3xx, optical MSAs, and form factor MSAs (preferred).
