What you'll do

Develop platform vision and strategy to support Prime Growth in coordination with global technology leads.
Provide technical oversight for the Post Trade platform to deliver on an aggressive business agenda.
Resolve high-impact problems by evaluating complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
Manage change controls, documentation, and approvals for new and revised regulatory reporting requirements.
Ensure application designs adhere to the overall architecture blueprint using advanced programming knowledge.
Establish standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation based on system flow knowledge.
Serve as a coach to mid-level developers and analysts while allocating work as necessary.
Assess business risks to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and internal firm policies.

What we're looking for

10+ years of relevant experience in Applications Development.
Previous leadership experience leading developers.
Experience in Equity Finance or Securities Lending.
Technical skills in Java, Kafka, Distributed Caching, SQL, and Git.
Experience with building event-based systems with low latency trading requirements.
Comprehensive experience with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Agile delivery.
Experience in performing QA, TDD, and BDD practices.
Experience with building containerised solutions that horizontally scale.
Exposure to AI solutions to accelerate development.
React and full stack development (preferred).
Knowledge of Prime Services (preferred).
