Equities Technology is seeking a Senior Vice President to serve as the Equities Cash, Trading GUI Lead. This senior technologist will lead the end-to-end delivery of a strategic Trading, Coverage, and Monitoring GUI, replacing legacy and vendor systems with a robust platform for trading, algo monitoring, and core order management. What you'll do

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a strategic Trading, Coverage, and Monitoring GUI platform.
  • Manage the replacement of legacy and vendor trading systems with a new multi-year technology roadmap.
  • Manage a global team of developers and oversee the hiring of new talent.
  • Oversee system architecture, module design, SDLC processes, and adherence to technology standards.
  • Implement AI toolkits to modernize the development process and improve productivity.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure software quality, maintainability, and testability.
  • Manage compute and estate hygiene, including security and vulnerability mitigation.
  • Coordinate with production support to ensure successful system delivery and ongoing operation.

What we're looking for

  • Past record of successful delivery of trading systems on a global scale.
  • 10+ years of experience in GUI development.
  • Strong understanding of Equities products, services, and existing vendor offerings.
  • Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3/SASS/CSS in JS, Core JavaScript, and Typescript.
  • Hands-on experience with React, React hooks, Redux, Recoil, and React Context.
  • Experience with RxJS, Web Sockets, Web workers, Jest, and React-testing-library.
  • Strong engineering background in modern architectures, middleware, servers, and databases.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred.
