Technical Game Designer I

What you'll do

• Design, program, and implement interactive learning scenarios within mixed reality environments.
• Develop scalable 3D CAD models for VR use based on internal equipment designs.
• Create an efficient workflow to transition assets from the CAD environment to final VR projects.
• Maintain a library of reusable VR-ready models, specific code, and scenes.
• Establish recommended toolsets and best practices to future-proof development efforts.
• Perform annual updates to existing VR modules to ensure technical accuracy.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for end-users at local and global training centers.
• Provide guidance and training to other internal VR developers.

What we're looking for

• Experience in programming and 3D modeling.
• Ability to design, program, and implement learning scenarios in mixed reality environments.
• Proficiency in using industry-standard software toolsets to develop VR-ready 3D CAD models.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Game Design (preferred).
• At least three years of experience in the semiconductor industry (preferred).
• Unity or Unreal certification (plus).
• Experience with Siemens NX, Creo, AutoDesk, Pixyz, Blender, Maya, Visual Studio, C++, C#, Javascript, Python, and Lua (various items preferred).
• Experience in UI/UX design, video/audio production software, and hardware configuration knowledge (various items preferred).
