Technical Content Professional Apprentice

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and publish technical product content including UI messages and API documentation.
• Create accurate and clear technical content for a global audience.
• Produce multimedia and visual content to enhance the user experience.
• Synthesize complex product information into user-centric information deliverables.
• Contribute to shared source repositories such as GitHub.
• Apply agile principles and IBM Design Thinking to content development projects.
• Complete specific learning hours and on-the-job training to meet apprenticeship milestones.
• Test content publications to ensure quality and accuracy.

What we're looking for

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and write accurate, clear, and concise content for a global audience.
• Experience with coding, development, or creating technical content.
• Knowledge of HTML, XML, or DITA tagging languages.
• Ability to use and contribute to shared source repositories such as GitHub.
• Knowledge of Agile principles and Design Thinking.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile team environment.
• Associate's Degree/College Diploma (preferred).
• Exposure to help authoring tools, content management systems, and version control systems (preferred).
• Basic understanding of visual content creation principles (preferred).
• Curiosity about organizing and structuring content for information architecture (preferred).
