The Tech Product Manager, Events and Meetings is responsible for the product direction, technical architecture, and business outcomes of the global Events and Meetings platform. This role involves managing the Veeva Events Management system and its integrations with HCP contracting, payment, and data systems. You will define the multi-year roadmap, lead technical discovery through rapid prototyping, and oversee the design of AI-enabled capabilities like intelligent recommendations and automated summaries. Key responsibilities include making integration decisions regarding APIs, data models, and cloud architectures while ensuring compliance with GxP and GCP requirements. You will utilize technologies including Veeva CRM, AI/ML services, and CI/CD patterns to solve complex pharma domain challenges. The role requires balancing deterministic software needs with innovative automation to improve global event workflows and data quality.
Define the product vision and multi-year roadmap for the global Events and Meetings platform.
Lead technical product discovery by mapping workflows and testing hypotheses through rapid prototyping.
Identify and sponsor AI opportunities, moving validated solutions from experiment to production.
Make integration and architecture decisions for connections between Veeva Events, CRM, and payment systems.
Define the data strategy for events, including data quality, reference data, and product telemetry.
Own measurable business outcomes such as cycle time, compliance adherence, and cost per event.
Drive user adoption and change across global event teams while holding delivery partners accountable for outcomes.
Translate domain needs from legal, compliance, and medical stakeholders into technical product decisions.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
7+ years of technology or product experience.
At least 3 years of experience in product ownership or product management of enterprise, digital, or platform products.
Demonstrated experience applying generative AI, machine learning, or intelligent automation to real products or workflows from experimentation through production.
Technical proficiency in discussing APIs, integration patterns, data models, cloud architectures, AI/LLM patterns, security, observability, and CI/CD.
Proven ability to learn regulated domains quickly and lead cross-functional projects in complex or regulated environments using Agile product delivery.
Hands-on experience with Veeva CRM, Veeva Events Management, or comparable life sciences CRM platforms (preferred).
Experience with HCP engagement processes, pharma events management, or CI/CD release governance (preferred).
