What you'll do

Define engineering standards for code quality, architecture patterns, CI/CD, and application security.
Conduct solution architecture reviews and code reviews for teams using Java, .NET, and Python.
Create reusable patterns, reference implementations, and technical decision frameworks to ensure consistency.
Translate enterprise platform, cloud, and AI guidance into actionable engineering practices.
Champion and measure the adoption of artificial intelligence-assisted engineering workflows and tools.
Prototype solutions, build internal tools, and contribute to critical-path code to resolve technical challenges.
Identify systemic quality issues and implement solutions to improve defect escape rates and lead times.
Deliver technical training and mentoring to strengthen architectural thinking and AI fluency across teams.

What we're looking for

10+ years of experience in software engineering, including designing, developing, and supporting enterprise software applications.
8+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microsoft Azure, AWS, or similar enterprise frameworks for microservices, REST APIs, JPA, Hibernate, and messaging systems.
4+ years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, and automated testing frameworks.
4+ years of experience working in cloud-native and containerized environments using Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar technologies.
4+ years of experience using relational and NoSQL databases in enterprise application environments.
Experience adopting and scaling artificial intelligence-assisted development tools to improve measurable engineering outcomes across teams.
Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or military experience.
Must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
