As a Software Engineering Technical Leader on the DNS Platform team within the Security Business Group, you will build and sustain backend software for high-volume DNS resolver systems. What you'll do

Build and sustain high-volume DNS resolver software for internal and external customers.
Develop backend services at scale on BareMetal AWS and OpenStack environments.
Lead the development of Sovereign DC and Fedramp specific service expansions.
Maintain time-sensitive, mission-critical systems with a focus on strict performance SLOs.
Develop complex technical solutions using C++, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
Manage infrastructure through configuration management tools like Ansible and CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins.
Implement monitoring, observability, and automated testing for production environments.

What we're looking for

8+ years of experience in software engineering.
Experience building and running high-volume, 24x7 production environments.
Experience developing complex solutions in C/C++ and Python.
Experience developing on Linux, networking systems, and cloud environments like AWS or OpenStack.
Experience with configuration management and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.
Familiarity with Perl and/or Go is a plus.
Experience with Agile development, Git, automated testing, and monitoring concepts.
A BS/CS degree is preferred.
