Tech Lead Software Engineer, Maintenance Planning & Operations

What you'll do

• Provide accurate development estimates to support feasibility assessments and planned development activities.
• Create, maintain, and approve application designs in alignment with solution architectures.
• Develop, maintain, and review high-quality software with a focus on maintainability.
• Execute unit, functional, and integration tests using automation and test-driven development.
• Provide technical oversight for performance testing to ensure non-functional requirements are met.
• Plan and oversee application deployment sequencing in non-production and production environments.
• Mentor and coach the development team on architecture, design, and operations topics.
• Evaluate code for structural integrity, industry standards, and cross-platform compatibility.

What we're looking for

• U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information systems, or equivalent advanced level experience is required.
• Expert level experience and expansive knowledge in software engineering, including cloud-native applications and services, is required.
• Advanced knowledge of at least one programming language and general knowledge of one or more additional languages is required.
• Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies, practices, concepts, and technologies is required.
• Experience with Domain Driven Design and Python is preferred.
• Understanding of machine learning and optimization concepts is preferred.
• AWS architect/Developer certifications are preferred.
