Lead Building Management Systems Tech Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, configure, and support building management systems (BMS), computer hardware, software, and networking tools.
• Perform hands-on engineering including coding, testing, debugging, and documenting solutions across the BMS portfolio.
• Develop and implement RESTful APIs and services to enable secure integrations between enterprise, SaaS, and external platforms.
• Engineer network connectivity, data movement solutions, and reliable delivery patterns across various platforms.
• Design and implement solutions that align with enterprise cybersecurity requirements and operational technology security standards.
• Drive resiliency, observability, monitoring, and operational support practices for building technology platforms.
• Manage product lifecycles, including upgrade strategies, firmware management, and vulnerability remediation.
• Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise for platforms including Niagara, Desigo, EcoStruxure, and Lutron.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 3+ years of hands-on BMS (Building Management Systems) technology experience.
• 5+ years of financial services industry experience (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience designing and engineering Enterprise Class BMS environments (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience designing and engineering cloud solutions for BMS endpoint management (preferred).
• 5+ years of BMS end-to-end architecture experience with wired and wireless communication protocols (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience with BMS device inventory, vulnerability management, and troubleshooting network issues (preferred).
• 5+ years of hands-on configuration experience with BMS system and data integration solutions (preferred).
