What you'll do

  • Lead multiple technology and process implementations across departments to achieve firmwide objectives.
  • Manage several areas with a strategic transactional focus.
  • Provide high-level direction and oversight for employee populations across multiple platforms and divisions.
  • Act as the primary interface with senior leaders and stakeholders to drive consensus on competing goals.
  • Manage complex projects and large cross-product collaborations.
  • Set observability standards including distributed tracing, metrics, log aggregation, and infrastructure monitoring.
  • Partner with Platform teams to identify and close diagnostic tooling gaps.
  • Represent the TDO function to leadership regarding risk, controls, and regulatory reporting.

What we're looking for

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
  • Experience developing or leading large or cross-functional teams of technologists.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing across highly matrixed, complex organizations to deliver value at scale.
  • Experience leading complex projects involving system design, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talent.
  • Extensive practical cloud native experience.
  • Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • Experience working at the code level (preferred).
