The Tech Lead Cybersecurity Engineer - Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) joins the Technology department to shape systems for managing cyber risk and meeting regulatory requirements. This role involves leading the design and integration of scalable solutions to automate evidence collection, control testing, and continuous monitoring. You will partner across Cybersecurity, Engineering, Audit, and Legal teams to translate complex requirements into secure technology capabilities. Key responsibilities include mentoring engineers, providing security guidance to application teams, and developing end-to-end software solutions using machine learning. Required technical skills include AWS, infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, and configuration-as-code tools like Ansible. You will also utilize PingFederate, CyberArk, and Prometheus. The work focuses on embedding compliance-by-design principles into technology solutions to improve audit readiness and security posture.

What you'll do

  • Design and integrate scalable solutions to automate evidence collection, control testing, and continuous monitoring.
  • Provide security guidance to application and partner teams to remediate vulnerabilities and policy exceptions.
  • Develop, test, and operate end-to-end software solutions using machine learning and optimization techniques.
  • Translate complex regulatory requirements into secure, well-integrated technology capabilities using AWS-based solutions.
  • Act as an enterprise subject matter expert to guide partner teams and mentor engineers on security standards.
  • Lead testing and implement system enhancements while preserving system integrity and driving results.
  • Deliver training to clients on the use of key cybersecurity systems and automated environments.
  • Create parameterized build jobs via GitLab or Jenkins for continuous integration of security variables.

What we're looking for

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent advanced experience.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have current authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must have expert-level experience developing, implementing, or integrating technologies for Enterprise security.
  • Must be skilled in AWS cloud computing, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and configuration-as-code (Chef, Puppet, Ansible).
  • Must be skilled in performance, logging, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, ELK Stack, and AppD.
  • Must have knowledge of PingFederate, eDirectory, Active Directory, CyberArk, and Micro Focus IDM.
  • Experience designing automated compliance controls for PCI DSS, NIST, SOX, and CMMC (preferred).
  • Experience developing compliance analytics, dashboards, and data-driven insights (preferred).
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive leadership and auditors (preferred).
  • Deep expertise supporting PCI DSS compliance programs within a Level 1 merchant environment (preferred).
  • Previous QSA, ISA, PCI Professional (PCIP), or related compliance certification (preferred).
