Lead Cybersecurity Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and operate large-scale, cloud-native security platforms for detection, prevention, and response across hybrid environments.
• Build API-first security services using Python and modern web service frameworks to interconnect security platforms.
• Implement GenAI-powered workflows and autonomous agents for cloud misconfiguration analysis and automated remediation.
• Enforce cloud security controls across Azure and AWS using Infrastructure-as-Code and Terraform.
• Author and maintain Policy-as-Code and guardrails using GitOps-based promotion pipelines and drift detection.
• Automate threat intelligence ingestion, sensor enrichment, and contextual risk scoring to reduce detection times.
• Manage cloud security posture (CSPM/CNAPP) using platforms like Wiz, Prisma Cloud, or Microsoft Defender.
• Lead technical design discussions, conduct proof-of-concepts, and mentor the team on emerging security technologies.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, 8+ years with an Advanced Degree, or 3+ years with a PhD.
• Expert-level proficiency in at least one major cloud platform, with Azure preferred.
• Hands-on experience migrating applications to the cloud and implementing cloud-native security controls at scale.
• Proven ability to design and implement new security controls based on risk assessments, gaps, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or Go to build production-grade services.
• Expertise in IaC, automation, and GitOps workflows, including secure state management and drift detection.
• Demonstrated experience building GenAI solutions and autonomous agents for cloud security engineering or security operations (preferred).
• Expert-level certification in at least one major cloud platform, Azure preferred (preferred).
