Lead Cybersecurity Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and operate large-scale, cloud-native security platforms for detection, prevention, and response across hybrid environments.
• Build API-first security services using Python and modern web frameworks to integrate SIEM, CSPM, and threat intelligence.
• Develop GenAI-powered workflows and autonomous agents for cloud misconfiguration analysis and automated remediation.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Policy-as-Code to manage security controls across multi-cloud ecosystems.
• Automate threat intelligence ingestion, sensor enrichment, and risk scoring to reduce time-to-detect and time-to-remediate.
• Manage cloud security posture using platforms like Wiz, Prisma Cloud, or Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
• Lead technical design discussions, conduct proof-of-concepts, and translate business requirements into scalable architectures.
• Mentor team members and provide technical leadership to improve engineering and security maturity.

What we're looking for

• Must have 10 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 8 years with an Advanced Degree, or 3 years with a PhD.
• Must possess expert-level knowledge in at least one major cloud platform, preferably Azure.
• Must have hands-on experience migrating applications to the cloud and implementing cloud-native security controls at scale.
• Must be able to design and implement new security controls based on risk assessments, gaps, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated experience building GenAI solutions and autonomous agents for cloud security engineering or security operations (preferred).
• Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or Go with experience building production-grade services.
• Expertise in IaC, automation, and GitOps workflows, including secure state management and drift detection.
• Experience with policy-as-code and enterprise guardrail enforcement.
