Full Stack and Platform Engineering Lead, VP

What you'll do

• Architect and lead the development of high-scale, low-latency distributed systems in cloud-native environments.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of cloud-native data platforms as scalable products for enterprise business lines.
• Drive enterprise adoption of public cloud databases through standardized patterns and self-service capabilities.
• Execute large-scale cloud transformation initiatives, including zero-downtime migrations of mission-critical workloads.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Security teams to ensure platforms meet strict regulatory and audit standards.
• Build and scale high-performing engineering teams while driving operational improvements through automation.
• Design resilient architectures that meet strict availability, performance, and data protection requirements.

What we're looking for

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering and platform engineering building distributed systems in enterprise environments.
• Proven experience designing and operating cloud-native data platforms on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Expertise in high-availability, fault-tolerant architecture, multi-region deployments, and SLO-driven engineering.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation), CI/CD pipelines, and platform automation.
• Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architectures, and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with data storage technologies, event-driven architectures (Kafka), and API design.
• Experience leading global engineering teams and delivering large-scale cloud transformation initiatives.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (equivalent practical experience considered).
