What you'll do

  • Drive enterprise adoption of public cloud databases through standardized patterns and developer-centric platform designs.
  • Ensure all platforms meet strict requirements for high availability, performance, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Execute large-scale cloud transformation initiatives, including zero-downtime migrations of mission-critical workloads.
  • Build and scale high-performing engineering teams while delivering cost efficiencies through automation and standardization.
  • Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Security stakeholders to ensure auditability and data protection standards are met.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in software engineering and platform engineering for distributed systems.
  • Expertise in designing cloud-native data platforms on AWS, GCP, or Azure using managed database services.
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architectures, and Kubernetes container orchestration.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation), CI/CD pipelines, and automated platform provisioning.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and scale global engineering teams while driving technical excellence.
  • Knowledge of wealth management or financial services platforms including trading systems and market data processing.
  • Experience in highly regulated environments ensuring compliance with standards like SEC, FINRA, or GDPR.
