Senior Platform Engineer, Vice President

What you'll do

• Architect cloud and hybrid infrastructure across multiple providers with multi-region HA and DR capabilities.
• Develop software solutions for complex application and cloud infrastructure management to eliminate ClickOps.
• Build and maintain petabyte-scale systems for high availability, throughput, data consistency, and security.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, alerting, and operations workflows to remove manual toil.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to deploy and maintain vast production environments.
• Maintain live services by monitoring availability, latency, and overall system performance.
• Drive the technical vision and technology stack selection for internal platform engineering.
• Practice sustainable incident response and conduct blameless postmortems.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 8+ years of production engineering and management experience using DevOps toolset and methodologies.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience developing production code using at least one high-level language like Python, Golang, Ruby, or JavaScript.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience managing medium to large-scale production infrastructure with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Production experience in designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, AWS CDK, or similar tools.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD tools and methodology with production experience designing pipelines for frequent, reliable production releases.
• Strong expertise in operation and workflow automation using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals including networking, filesystems, kernel, and isolation.
• Experience building and managing cybersecurity platforms such as Splunk, Sentinel, ELK, Anvilogic, Crogl, or Databricks (preferred).
