As a Systems Support Apprentice, you will join a seasoned group of engineers and mentors to support client systems. In this role, you will apply hardware knowledge and experience using the latest tools and technologies to maintain infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve supporting client systems while completing the requirements of the apprenticeship program. The position requires knowledge or experience with operating systems like Windows and Linux, as well as general networking and infrastructure fundamentals. You will also work with server or storage management. This role provides technical support for IBM Systems, which focuses on infrastructure designed for cognitive business and optimized for cloud computing. You will help manage servers and storage that are designed to understand, reason, and learn to help clients avoid IT issues.
