The Systems Engineering Spring Co-Op role involves supporting the development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures. Working within a systems engineering context, the individual will perform operational analysis to develop concept of operations, design, and implementation plans. Daily responsibilities include analyzing systems requirements from users and end systems, developing test plans, procedures, and cases, and conducting tests to document results. The role requires using software tools, scripting, and performing software and hardware troubleshooting. Candidates should possess skills in systems architecture, systems analysis and design, system performance modeling, integration, project management, or model-based systems engineering. Proficiency with Rhapsody is preferred. The work focuses on solving technical problems related to complex system designs and architecture requirements for defense technology applications.
Perform operational analysis and develop concept of operations, design, and implementation plans.
Develop comprehensive test plans, procedures, and test cases.
Conduct system tests and document all results.
Use software tools and scripting for software and hardware troubleshooting.
Analyze systems requirements from end systems and users.
Support the development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures.
Deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and status to customers.
What we're looking for
Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for a security clearance.
Must be able to obtain a security clearance and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Coursework and/or experience in systems engineering, architecture, analysis, design, performance modeling, integration, project management, and/or model-based systems engineering (preferred).
