The Systems Engineering Spring Co-Op joins the engineering team to support the development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures. In this role, you will perform operational analysis, develop concepts of operations, and create design and implementation plans. Daily responsibilities include analyzing systems requirements from users, developing test plans and procedures, conducting tests, and documenting results. You will utilize software tools, scripting, and hardware troubleshooting to ensure system integrity. The position requires proficiency in systems engineering, systems architecture, systems analysis, design, performance modeling, integration, project management, and model-based systems engineering. Candidates should also be familiar with Rhapsody. This work focuses on solving technical problems within complex system designs to meet specific end-system requirements and user needs.
Perform operational analysis and develop concept of operations, design, and implementation plans.
Develop comprehensive test plans, procedures, and test cases.
Conduct system tests and document all results.
Use software tools and scripting for software and hardware troubleshooting.
Analyze systems requirements from end systems and users.
Support the development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures.
Deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and status to customers.
What we're looking for
Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for a security clearance.
Coursework and/or experience in systems engineering, architecture, analysis, design, performance modeling, integration, project management, and/or model-based systems engineering (preferred).
