Systems Engineering Intern will join the team to support the development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures. The intern will perform operational analysis, develop concepts of operations, and create design and implementation plans. Daily responsibilities include developing test plans, procedures, and cases, as well as conducting tests and documenting results. The role requires analyzing systems requirements from users and end systems while using software tools, scripting, and performing software or hardware troubleshooting. Candidates should possess skills in systems engineering, systems architecture, systems analysis, design, performance modeling, integration, project management, or model-based systems engineering. Proficiency with Rhapsody is preferred. This role addresses technical problems within the defense technology sector, specifically focusing on mission-critical technology solutions across space, air, land, sea, and cyber domains.
Perform operational analysis and develop concept of operations, design, and implementation plans.
Develop comprehensive test plans, procedures, and test cases.
Conduct system tests and document all results.
Use software tools and scripting for software and hardware troubleshooting.
Analyze systems requirements from end systems and users.
Support the development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures.
Deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and status to customers.
What we're looking for
Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for a security clearance.
Must be able to obtain a security clearance and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Coursework and/or experience in systems engineering, architecture, analysis, design, performance modeling, integration, project management, and/or model-based systems engineering (preferred).
