What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain robust systems and services within cloud-based and on-premise environments.
Implement software engineering best practices to ensure system performance, security, and reliability.
Write scripts, templates, and utility applications to automate processes and improve system functionality.
Manage system upgrades, migrations, optimizations, and new implementations while resolving efficiency issues.
Design and script custom workflows, data models, and enhancements within the ServiceNow SAM platform.
Build and maintain data pipelines, APIs, and discovery patterns for real-time software asset tracking.
Engineer automated reconciliation frameworks and entitlement schemas to manage complex vendor licensing models.
Establish ITAM data governance and build compliance dashboards using ServiceNow reporting and Performance Analytics.

What we're looking for

2+ years of experience in systems engineering.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience with infrastructure/systems lifecycle methodology and scripting as appropriate for the area of expertise.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure (preferred).
Understanding of software engineering practices, including CI/CD and automation (preferred).
Knowledge of security best practices for system operations (preferred).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (preferred).
Effective communication and teamwork abilities (preferred).
