Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and maintain multi-enclave data architectures to ensure secure data flow between different security levels.
• Lead the technical integration of various sensors, including UAS and ground systems, into the Army's Integrated Sensor Architecture.
• Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google platforms in coordination with the Enterprise Cloud Management Agency.
• Develop and test Cross-Domain Solutions to facilitate secure data transfers between disparate networks.
• Integrate machine learning models and large language models with real-world sensor data feeds.
• Manage project plans, budgets, and schedules while serving as the primary point of contact for all lab activities.
• Design and oversee rigorous testing methodologies to evaluate sensor performance metrics like latency and accuracy.
• Create and document new Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) based on laboratory test results and operational feedback.

What we're looking for

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must possess a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Systems Engineering (relevant experience may be substituted).
• 8+ years of proven experience in systems integration, data engineering, or a related technical field within the DoD or Intelligence Community.
• A current IAT II Certification is required at time of hire.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, and SQL; experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and network fundamentals.
• Proven project management experience leading complex technical projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in technical laboratory management or operations.
• Master's degree in a relevant technical field (preferred).
• Project Management certification (PMP, DAWIA, ScrumMaster) or Data Science Certification (CAP, SDS) (preferred).
• Direct experience with military sensor systems and their data formats (preferred).
• Experience with spectrum management, electronic warfare platforms, wave forms, and telemetry data (preferred).
• Experience with air defense and target acquisition radar, Link 16, and unmanned systems (preferred).
• Experience with the Integrated Sensor Architecture (ISA), UCS, or other DoD data standards (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) (preferred).
• Familiarity with Army intelligence platforms (e.g., AIDP, Palantir Foundry, Maven Smart Systems, TITAN) and tactical networks (preferred).
• Experience working in a multi-enclave DoD environment and familiarity with Cross-Domain Solutions (CDS) (preferred).
