Systems Engineer Intern

What you'll do

• Apply classroom-learned engineering skills to projects supporting national defense services.
• Work on technical projects associated with the company's core mission.
• Develop solutions for customers to execute high-stakes national security missions.
• Perform research-oriented work to develop practical solutions for national security.
• Handle increasing responsibilities and complex information as tasks evolve.
• Apply engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards to project work.

What we're looking for

• Must possess a Department of Defense Secret security clearance or be eligible for one.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Mechanical or Systems Engineering.
• Preference for a standing of sophomore or higher.
• Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology.
• Creative thinker with the ability to grasp and apply new information quickly (preferred).
• Team player who thrives in collaborative environments (preferred).
• Commitment to ongoing professional development (preferred).
